DEL SOL FOODS ADDS ANOTHER PACIFIC VOLUMETRIC FILLER TO THEIR POURABLE DRESSING OPERATION
SAN CLEMENTE, CA – August 9th, 2007 – Pacific Packaging Machinery Inc, the leader in high
speed volumetric liquid packaging fillers, today announced that Del Sol Food Co., Inc. has
successfully installed a new 12 station volumetric rotary filler. The 12 station filler complements the
existing Pacific 12 station filler that is currently in operation within their new production facility in
Brenham, TX.
As a provider of pourable dressing products, Del Sol Foods has a stringent set of filling criteria that
includes: continuous motion, accurate fills without aeration or foaming, clean drip free operation, easy
clean-up & changeover, easy to operate with minimum maintenance, and fill speeds up to 180
containers per minute. Del Sol wanted to purchase a single filler that could meet the criteria for their
entire product viscosity range.

Del Sol Foods selected a custom 12 station rotary volumetric filler with top fill valves that support up
to 180 containers per minute. The filler incorporates Pacific’s latest C.I.P. nozzles designed to handle
viscosities ranging from light products with particulates to semi-viscous products with large chunks.
